Projektas „Asmenų su klausos negalia įgalinimas atpažinti ir reaguoti į smurtą lyties pagrindu“
Projekto įgyvendinimo laikotarpis: 2025 m. – 2026 m.

Projekto partnerė: Klausos negalios šeimų bendrija „Aidas“.
Projekto tikslas:
Projektu siekiama stiprinti atsaką į smurtą lyties pagrindu prieš asmenis su klausos negalia, ypač moteris,
didinant smurto atpažįstamumą kurčiųjų bendruomenėje, gerinant pagalbos paslaugų prieinamumą ir
stiprinant specialistų gebėjimus teikti pagalbą, pritaikytą kurčiųjų poreikiams.
Uždaviniai:
- didinti asmenų su klausos negalia informuotumą apie smurto lyties pagrindu formas, jų atpažinimą
ir pagalbos galimybes, užtikrinant informacijos pateikimą lietuvių gestų kalba; - stiprinti kurčiųjų moterų pasitikėjimą savimi ir gebėjimą laiku kreiptis pagalbos patiriant smurtą;
- kelti specialistų, dirbančių su klausos negalią turinčiais asmenimis, kompetencijas atpažinti smurtą
ir tinkamai reaguoti į smurto atvejus; - skatinti tarpinstitucinį bendradarbiavimą tarp kurčiųjų organizacijų ir socialinių paslaugų įstaigų,
kuriant aiškius pagalbos teikimo mechanizmus; - didinti visuomenės ir kurčiųjų bendruomenės narių sąmoningumą apie smurto netoleravimą ir
pagalbos prieinamumo svarbą.
Tikslinė auditorija:
- asmenys su klausos negalia, ypač kurčios moterys;
- su asmenimis su klausos negalia dirbantys specialistai (socialiniai darbuotojai, psichologai, pedagogai, gestų kalbos vertėjai); kurčiųjų bendruomenių nariai;
- socialinių paslaugų ir pagalbos įstaigų atstovai.
Projekto įgyvendinimui skirta: 60 000 EUR
Projektą finansuoja: Europos Sąjunga.
Finansuojama Europos Sąjungos lėšomis. Tačiau išreiškiamas požiūris ar nuomonė yra tik autoriaus (-ių) ir nebūtinai atspindi Europos Sąjungos ar Europos Komisijos (EK) požiūrį ar nuomonę. Nei Europos Sąjunga, nei EK negali būti laikoma už juos atsakinga.
Project „Empowering People with Hearing Disabilities to Recognize and Respond to Gender-Based Violence“

Project objective
The project aims to strengthen the response to gender-based violence against persons with hearing disabilities, particularly women, by increasing the recognition of gender-based violence within the Deaf community, improving the accessibility of support services, and strengthening the capacity of professionals to provide assistance tailored to the needs of Deaf people.
Objectives
- To increase awareness among persons with hearing disabilities about forms of gender-based violence, their recognition, and available support services, ensuring that information is provided in Lithuanian Sign Language.
- To strengthen the self-confidence of Deaf women and their ability to seek help in a timely manner when experiencing violence.
- To enhance the competencies of professionals working with persons with hearing disabilities in recognizing and appropriately responding to cases of violence.
- To promote interinstitutional cooperation between Deaf organizations and social service providers by developing clear support and referral mechanisms.
- To increase awareness among the general public and members of the Deaf community about zero tolerance for violence and the importance of accessible support services.
Target groups
- Persons with hearing disabilities, particularly Deaf women;
- Professionals working with persons with hearing disabilities (social workers, psychologists, educators, sign language interpreters);
- Members of the Deaf community;
- Representatives of social service and support organizations.
